Park Overview...

> Large/Medium sized campisite

> Open 28th Feb to November

> Large outdoor pool, plunge pool with fountain. Separate children’s pool

> Well positioned for exploring numerous, quality beaches, St.Tropez and Port.Grimaud

> Outstanding ambiance

This is a unique location and is our most popular campsite.

Formerly a terraced, wooded, vineyard, this superb site occupies a hillside, close to many magnificent beaches. Parc St. James attracts many nationalities to give it a truly friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Mobile homes are well spaced, intermingled with cork and oak trees generally, giving good shade as well as sun. To ensure extra large pitches we pay increased fees but they are well worth it. Each emplacement has a gravelled patio which is floodlit at night. Facilities are first class-the good-sized swimming pool being a special favourite. Recently, a new spa pool with a revamped, impressive terasse for sunbathing has been added. The regular disco in high season is always popular with the 10-18 year olds. Younger children have their own pool and playground. Aquarobics, tennis and table tennis tournaments are a feature for active adults in high season and the whole campsite enjoys a special ambiance with twinkling patio lights and al fresco dining on your own terasse area.

Ideal for fly/drive including short breaks. Nice airport 55 miles. Air conditioning £1-3 per night.

In Our Opinion

This attractive site, set in what was a hillside vineyard, is extremely restful and informal out of the main season but bubbles in July and August. A favourite for families with children up to 18, and particularly popular with the 12 to 18 year age group. Some 36% of in2camping holidaymakers have returned to this unique and traditionally French campsite for four or more years. Such is it's popularity, we take bookings up to 3 years in advance.
Speak to anybody who has camped in this area and they will know this site- possibly as Montana. A real continental atmosphere with an even balance of French, Dutch, Germans and British. Its appeal is the general ambiance of this wooded site and its private, individual emplacements. But its strength is the plethora of places to go for an hour, or a morning. St. Tropez harbour is exciting, as are the canal streets of Port. Grimaud. The serenity of Old Grimaud Village, Gassin and Ramatuelle is lovely on an evening, or maybe for a morning visit.
Try the Sunday market or La Croix Valmer and stay for coffee on the outside Mezzanine at Hotel Belle Vue.
Lunch on the beach at Gigaro or Hercules Restaurant-try the sardines and the white wine for under £8…the list is endless and explains why a third of our visitors return each year.

For the tenth time we are returning to Parc St James this year. We chose this site because
we love the area. particularly in September, when the site is quiet. Being located away from the busy coast road is a plus. It's proximity to some excellent beaches is also a bonus. In2camping's accommodation is first class as is the service offered by the site representatives
and the head office. We know that we will arrive home after our holiday with our usual fond
Mr & Mrs V Canty Linford stayed 10 times including booking 2012

Percentage of first time visitors continue to visit for 4 or more consecutive years.

Each morning I purposely offer to go to the camp shop for baguettes and croissants so I can stop and enjoy a coffee, on my own, looking out across the pool to the hills and beyond.
